Agent99 is a spyware monitoring software solution, developed exclusively for Digital Window in conjunction with Ben Edelman, an assistant professor at the Harvard Business School and the US expert on Spyware.Unscrupulous individuals or companies to hijack other affiliates commissions and claim them as their own using Spyware. Once Spyware software has been installed onto a computer (accidentally through non-consensual downloads) it will serve to hijack traffic with a view to securing revenue for the spyware vendor. All sales from that PC, that might previously have been considered direct traffic or been tracked and attributed to a legitimate affiliate, can now be hijacked and attributed to the spyware affiliate.
